You’ve seen it on here before, but one of my biggest style inspirations is the early 1960s. So when online brand Boohoo challenged me to create a #TBT (or Throwback Thursday) look based on a style icon – I knew exactly where I was headed.
While I couldn’t narrow it down to just one (Audrey Hepburn, Jackie Kennedy, Jane Birkin.. the list goes on) , I knew the look I wanted to mimic. The clean lines and saturated color of this double layer shift dress along with a boxy chain strap bag and oversized coat called to mind these confidently chic dressers – and the finishing touch? Cat-eye sunglasses of course.
