This weekend I took a trip to Columbia University on the Upper West Side for no other reason than the fact that I had never been. Not surprisingly, the campus was Ivy league beautiful.

I talked about it the other day too, but this city really never ceases to inspire me. My original instinct was to pair this floral skirt with stripes (and I probably still will) but I went in a different direction with a feminine, classic tweed and scarf combo. This lightweight watercolor printed scarf (those are bunnies!) felt like a touch of Spring compared to my usual oversized Winter versions. Which helps when this snow doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere, anytime soon.
