Yesterday I mentioned that I’d be ringing in 2015 with a week-long style remix – with the hopes of starting off the new year full of ideas on how to approach your closet in new ways. I kicked things off with this plaid maxi dress worn casually (and as a skirt for that matter). But with the year’s biggest party coming up tomorrow night, I couldn’t resist going glam with this piece. I had spotted this faux fur stole in the Anthro catalogue a few months back and have been dreaming of it ever since – so when it went on major sale I scooped it up. It’s a serious statement piece, but one that can still get plenty of wear throughout the winter (…unlike those sequin mini dresses I’ve bought for New Year’s past).
