We’re still in the magical time of year here in New York where light jackets and sweaters are needed, but you can get away with bare legs. And since that’s basically my idea of the perfect outfit, I’ve been reveling in it. Especially when bare legs are paired with this 1960’s Jean Shrimpton meets 1990’s Cher Horowitz miniskirt. I mean it’s baby blue. And fluffy. And a-line. And basically the stuff of dreams. I let the skirt steal the show here and otherwise went for a few of my favorite closet classics – a white silk button down, colorblock cardigan, ankle boots, and wool panama hat. You know, the stuff of day to day life. But how boring would life be if you didn’t throw in a fluffy skirt now and then?
p.s. I’m majorly itching for a hair switch (hence it being covered with a hat and tucked away into my collar…) and am thinking either blonder with Bardot bangs or dark brown and a bit shorter (eek!). Thoughts?

Seriously, ADORABLE! I love every piece, the boots, ring, gorgeous skirt and that colorblocking sweater. Haha I hide my hair too, I think it would look fab with blonder with bangs, but I like blondes 😉

Haha I like blonde too 🙂 Still deciding! xx
I love everything you ever put on. Seriously. The colors may be neutrals but this outfit still says so much!
So sweet – thank you Meghan!
Super cute! Found you through Style Elixir and this is totally channeling Cher Horowitz and Jean Shrimpton. Love it!
