Yesterday was officially the hottest day of 2014 – like mandatory after dinner ice cream truck runs kinda hot. You know the city has really heated up when everyone is wearing some version of the same exact outfit. It usually goes something like: lighter than air top, as short as work-appropriate allows shorts, and sandals. My spin on the look involved this new drop waist top in bright citron from French Connection (on major sale right now!) that conveniently happens to have a split back so I can catch a bit of a breeze on my walks to and from work.
