I named this post ‘Love on Top’ partially because of the fact that I’m wearing a t-shirt with the word love and I’m on top of our building’s roof, but mainly because of the Beyonce song by the same name. Regardless of whether or not her music is your style, the basic message I gather from the song is to find what you love in this world and make it yours, and I don’t think anyone out there can argue that. Which leads me to my big announcement… WE’RE MOVING BACK TO NEW YORK!! It’s been a crazy few weeks here and I’ve been nearly bursting at the seams to share but wanted to get all of the official details lined up before I went public. Living in California was such an amazing adventure (and one I’ll find the time – and the words – to talk more about before we head out in just, ahem, 18 short days?!?) but New York has always had my heart and more than any other place in the world, I feel most like myself there. That’s love on top if you ask me. I’m hoping all of you are up for the big adventure (including another cross country road trip!) and a pretty major change of scenery. It’s going to be the next big step in this fashionable journey, and I’d love to have you along for the ride.Tulle Coat c/o // Denim Jacket – similar // Grayson Love T-Shirt c/o // Nordstrom Jeans – similar // F21 Boots // Vintage Bag

So THAT’s how I’m supposed to pair my polka dotted jeans. Duly noted. I may just copy this sometime this week!
Ha I was tired of wearing them with solid colored sweaters so I figured it was time to mix things up! And thank you – can’t wait to share the big adventure here on the blog 🙂
Well it’s about FREAKING TIME! So glad to have you back on the “right” coast. Holy crap, 18 days?!?!!
Cue panic mode. But seriously, can’t wait!! We’ll have to catch up once I’m back!
Also… I just read the rest of your post! Congrats on the big move. Can’t wait to see what it brings for you. And congrats on finding happiness and knowing what it is for you too. That’s a hard gem to find.
OMGGGG I AM SO SAD! But so happy for you! I will miss being able to see you but know your heart is back east! Lets meet up before you leave!

Thanks Rebecca! It feels like there’s so much to be done but I’m starting to get really excited to be back in NYC!
I’m so EXCITED and HAPPY for you, but also incredibly sad that you’ll be leaving us here on the West Coast. I hope to be able to connect with you before you leave!!
Thanks so much Kristin! It’s definitely bittersweet but the East Coast feels like the right place for me – hope we can all catch up for brunch next weekend!!
