There is a very explicit happiness that I attach to Spring jackets. They signify a distinct shift – when the weather is not quite fully warm yet, but allows for the first chance to shrug your shoulders out of those oppressive Winter coats. I always love a bit of a nautical vibe for Spring too, so I was immediately drawn to the blue and white pattern of this raincoat version. I mean, it’s basically the chicest raincoat of all time, no? And since it makes quite a statement on its own, I kept the rest of this weekend ready look super simple in a slim knit sweater, skinny jeans and white sneakers. Oh and this perfect leather saddlebag. Can you believe I didn’t own a cognac medium size handbag? It kind of seems like an obvious closet staple doesn’t it? The fun part is that this one comes with a standard leather strap but also with a striped cotton strap option for when you want to mix things ups. Practically two bags for the price of one. Now.. about that weekend.
