I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – winter is NOT my season. Between daylight savings and the first really warm Spring day.. I spend most of my time hopscotching my way through the city to always walk on the sunny side of the street. That and planning imaginary vacations to tropical islands. In the meantime, I picked up this bell sleeve sweater that’s basically like an instant dose of Vitamin D.

Somehow, in just the right stretch of wind-free sidewalk this past weekend I could deal with having my coat off for enough time to let this sunny sweater really shine. Aside from the very of-the-moment bell sleeve, I love its stripes (naturally) and that it is actually a pretty thick knit making it warm until we make it to the other side of this test of patience otherwise known as winter. Also – it pairs well with green (as discussed here) which gives me an excuse to carry this equally retro meets modern satchel. So basically.. sunny disposition officially achieved.
