A brunch-indulging, sidewalk-strolling, weekend-ready look.. because I am very ready for the weekend. I wore this striped dress, quilted vest and sneakers around town last Sunday when we spent most of the day enjoying this ongoing warm weather in New York and not having much of a schedule. Which is in stark contrast to the packed schedule I’ve got for this weekend – but at least I’ve got the relaxed outfit, right?
SHOP THE STORY
I mentioned back in this post – but it feels so good to just be comfortable on the weekends after spending much of the work week running around in dressier clothes for work, meetings and blog events. I like that these pieces have a sporty feel but don’t feel overly trendy or fussy. AKA total wardrobe staples. Another staple this season? Those pumpkin pancakes they’re serving up at Cafe Orlin in the East Village.
p.s. I’ll be spending the weekend putting together something BIG for the holidays . Be sure to stay tuned for a lot of exciting things coming your way these next few weeks!
