This past weekend, I was thrilled to be a featured blogger at the Lovely Happenings event (aka a fun day filled with bloggers and NYC local business giving their best take on fashion, beauty, food and lifestyle presentations – not to mention about 100 gorgeous guests). Although fashion is my main forté I thought it would be fun to share a spring cocktail demo that guests could learn to make themselves (and then promptly enjoy) on the spot.

Not only were the cocktails a hit (who can say no to a fresh sprig of lavender and lemon garnish and a pretty paper straw?), but it was so amazing to meet some of the faces that have liked, commented, and followed along these past few years, as well as make lots of new friends. If you’re in NYC you should definitely get a ticket to the next event!
The cocktails themselves are totally easy to make and light but still flavorful thanks to a squeeze of lemon and the fresh lavender simple syrup. They’d be perfect for a brunch at home with friends or a DIY cocktail bar at a bridal shower. Below, the recipe cards that I printed up for the event. Cheers!
