SWING DRESS AND SUEDE BOOTIES

Meatpacking District NYC wearing Swing dress and suede ankle booties

I love that even though it’s been 6 years since I first moved to New York – there are still streets I’ve never explored. And an outfit as easy as this one is perfect for getting lost on little back streets.

SHOP THE STORY

Adam and I went to the Meatpacking District on Saturday and were quickly overcome by girls in 5″ heels, guys tossing champagne bottles and nightclub-ready squads crowding the sidewalk. Did I mention it was 4:00 in the afternoon? Yikes. We took cover by hopping a few blocks down to Horatio Street which proved just the quiet little reprieve we were searching for. And an environment in which my 2″ stacked heel boots (so comfortable!) and swingy trapeze dress were much more at home.
