The weather was pretty gloomy in New York this past weekend and I took the chance to disconnect. Aside from battling a long run in the rain along the East River on Saturday morning, I mainly stayed tucked away in my apartment, reading, binge watching Netflix and hanging out with Adam. In a life of go, go, go.. it was pretty wonderful.
There are signs of Spring popping up everywhere in the city, and last Saturday I took the chance to collect a few warm weather tokens from the Union Square Farmer’s Market and store them in a bag that’s equally ready for the season.
Even though this weekend’s weather thawed out a bit, it’s still not exactly bare leg weather. But for an indoor day date with Adam (after removing quite a few outside layers), I couldn’t wait until true Spring temps to break out this dress.
I had a post on fringe accessories all planned for today.. but then late last week I spotted this bag. And then, there were these earrings. And suddenly – the only trend I cared about for Spring was the gorgeous organic with an edge look of marble.
We just barely snapped these pictures yesterday before inches of slush, sleet and snow covered the streets. As Adam and I were walking to this little park I was lamenting how colorful it was back in spring and summer and how completely devoid of color it is right now.
