9 days until Christmas and we’re officially in the red zone when it comes to gift shopping. These past couple of weeks, days have been a 9AM to 9PM (well.. 1AM if we’re being honest) blur of work, holiday parties, errands, more work.. it feels like the days are getting shorter leading up to Christmas somehow. So when I pick out an outfit, sleepy-eyed at 8AM – it needs to go the distance. This recent one did just that.

It kind of goes without saying if you leave anywhere along the East Coast – but the weather we had in New York this weekend was pretty spectacular. It was almost hard to believe that we were Christmas shopping without being weighed down by a winter coat, but by some fluke we got a mid-December weekend in the 60s and so I dressed accordingly.

The fact that I’m still sporting bare legs in mid December is a fact that I’m not letting go uncelebrated. Because colder days will eventually come (and so will Monday again) so you gotta make the most of it while you can right?
