BLUE BREEZE

The Steele Maiden: Blue Double Layer Dress with Sole Society Striped Sandals and Straw Fedora

I wore this outfit when I got back to the city Sunday evening after a couple of relaxing days at the lake. I always find myself feeling a bit nautically inclined when I’m there, and so this is my city take on that vibe.

WEARING WHITES FOR SPRING

The Steele Maiden: Wearing white for Spring in Old Navy denim jacket and dotted pencil skirt

CORAL AND CUTOUT BOOTIES

The Steele Maiden: Spring scarf, distressed denim and cutout booties

Plus – it’s the season of bright colors and booties. So basically, an all around good time.

SHIRTDRESS AND SUEDE BOOTIES

The Steele Maiden: Old Navy Eyelet Shirtdress and Sole Society Suede Booties

If I had to make a list of my essential Spring pieces, a pair of neutral suede ankle boots would be pretty near the top. The weather is warm enough that I’ve been walking everywhere, but still cool enough that sandals aren’t really an option. So booties it is. And there’s barely an item in my closet that isn’t a match.
