The thing about snow in New York City is that on the first day or two it looks like this winter wonderland – and by the second or third day it’s all knee deep piles of slush at street crossings and piles of trash bags thawing out from under heaps of white. Which is to say – it’s lost a bit of magic. But we’re New Yorkers.. so we trudge on.

Helloooo snow. After hiding out in the apartment for most of Saturday while a record-setting blizzard swept through the city, we woke up early on Sunday morning to go exploring. While well over 2 feet of snow blanketing the streets looked pretty incredible, Central Park was something different altogether. It was pure Winter magic.
