Spring especially feels like a season that begs for a fresh face. And I figured foundation was as good a place to start as any. Would you believe I’d never even owned foundation before this? The thought of finding the right color for my skin (which tans deeply in the summer but loses a lot of color in the winter) felt impossible. And after trying it? I’m hooked. No scary face that doesn’t match your neck or caked makeup wrinkles halfway through the day. And since I was on a roll I decided to swap out my usual pencil eyeliner for a cream version applied with a brush (lasted wayyyy longer!) and a bright pink lip using lipliner first and then gloss after (instead of my trademark red). Aside from that, my usual swipe of rosy blush, neutral eyeshadow and 2 coats of mascara. The result? I’m feeling a little brighter, just a tad bolder, and totally ready for Spring.
