After such a cold and gloomy spring, you won’t hear me complaining about a hot and humid day this summer. But you will see you shed a few layers. This outfit is a mix of old staples and new summer favorites, but all of them are well under $100. Because who wants to sweat through an expensive new dress?

I picked up these wood platform sandals last summer and was excited to break them back out (plus they’re on major sale now so lucky you). This ruffle tank is new this summer and at less than the cost of lunch you certainly won’t regret picking it up. Since they go with everything, I paired them with this fun striped skirt (in the perfect not so long not so short length). As a whole this outfit works for date night or meeting friends for brunch – but add this lightweight linen blazer and you’ve got yourself an office-ready look. And these statement earrings are just plain fun no matter what you pair them with (I originally wore them in this post from Palm Springs with a flowy maxi dress).
