Wait – where did the weekend go?! Adam and I were busy all over town, and then out of town, shooting a bunch of holiday content that I can’t wait to share with you all (you’ll want to tune in on November 14th). So while I didn’t do much relaxing, I did wear this relaxed outfit on Saturday afternoon which involved my softest plaid boyfriend shirt and these comfy slip-on ankle boots.
SHOP THE STORY
There’s still only a hint of real chill in the air and so I’m taking full advantage by skipping the bulk of a full coat (a quilted vest like the one I wore here is also perfect this time of year). Also – turtlenecks. Under/over/with everything. As also evidenced here and here. And while it’s subtle – there’s a little bit of a red, white and blue theme going on here that hints to the real matter at hand this week.
You don’t come here to listen to my political views, but somewhere around 65% of you reading this are American females aged 20-50.. which means that we’re only a few generations distanced from not even having the right to vote. Go exercise that right tomorrow. Go to support the candidate you love or to stop the candidate you hate. Even if you live in a decidedly red or blue state and think your vote doesn’t matter. Just do it. Because your great-grandmother never even had the option.
