CENTRAL PARK PICNIC: SUMMER STYLE STAPLES UNDER $50

Under $50 Summer Style: Gingham Top and White Midi Skirt in Central Park

It’s officially summer, which in New York means Central Park picnic season. And while anywhere else that may mean shorts and a t-shirt (and it can here too if you want) – it’s also an excuse, if you want, to dress like a picnic itself in gingham, a sun hat and a crisp white skirt.

SHOP THE STORY

While I’m still on the hunt for the perfect picnic basket (suggestions welcome), the hunt for the perfect picnic-ready top has been called off now that I found this top for under $20. It’s nice to wear something that you love the look of, but also wouldn’t feel bad if you spilled the fruit salad on, you know? And while this white midi skirt luckily remains stain free, it’s definitely been seeing it’s fair share of wear since picking it up this Spring. Oh.. and it’s less than $30 too. Meaning I’ve got plenty left in my wallet to spring for a Mr. Softee cone on my way out of the park.
