TOP OF THE ROCK

Top of the Rock NYC in pink midi skirt and off the shoulder top

First off – thank you all for the kind words both here on the blog, on social media and even in person about the launch of my first ever e-magazine earlier this week. It was so much fun to create my ‘Complete Guide to Summer Travel‘ and even more fun to finally share it with you all! And if you did already take a look through it, than you saw a hint of these photos. Last week Adam and I crossed a major item off of our New York Bucket List by finally visiting the Top of the Rock. And here’s the way to do it…

SHOP THE STORY

Buy tickets in advance, for a weekday at 8AM. I know, I know.. it’s early. But I promise, you will be almost alone up there with just sweeping uninterrupted views of the city around you. And it will be downright magical. I wanted to live in this moment forever. Unfortunately, 9AM rolled around and like Cinderella I had to race back down to the subway, change my shoes and head to the office.. but at least these photos preserve a bit of the magic. My last piece of advice? The tourists will wear windbreakers and sneakers.. don’t give in. Wear something as bold and beautiful as the city below.

Off the Shoulder Top | Choies Midi Skirt c/o – now sold out, but this and this are similar | Block Heels | GigiNY Madison Bag c/o | Sole Society Sunglasses c/o | Lulu Frost Earrings

  1. Beyond amazing. Adam has such a natural talent for capturing the light, the mood, etc. His talent combined with your ability to wear anything and look great in it, certainly turns out photos that make you want to buy “the look” AND travel to all of these places where the pictures are taken. Great job!!!
