GINGHAM SHIRTDRESS IN CENTRAL PARK

Gingham Shirtdress in Central Park

There’s something fairly magical about watching the season’s change in Central Park. So on Saturday, Adam and I went to take in a bit of that magic in the late afternoon light. Since we did quite a bit of walking, I kept it comfortable in flat espadrilles and a classic shirtdress.

SHOP THE STORY

Even though this ‘spring’ weather has been throwing me for a serious loop (I had to reach for a jacket as soon as these we finished snapping these photos), the trees in bloom and that golden hour glow more than made up for it. I always find myself dressing up a bit when I head uptown – something about the park just seems to call for it – so this gingham shirtdress was a no brainer. I’ll be wearing this to the office with a heeled sandal but with flat espadrilles and a wide brim boater it felt perfect for a picnic. Here’s hoping May brings weather more suited for one.

Gingham Dress – runs a bit large, I’m wearing a size 0 for a closer, nipped in fit | F21 Boater Hat | Sole Society Sunglasses & Cuff Bracelet c/o | Espadrilles | Coach Mercer Satchel – the exact blue color I have is now sold out, but I love this similar option | Daniel Wellington Watch c/o
