CASUAL FRIDAY: OFFICE STYLE

Casual Friday Office Style - ASOS Denim Button Front Skirt and Leopard Pumps

Friday! We made it! These first 5 weeks of 2016 have sort of wiped me out work-wise and as we lead up to NYFW I don’t see things slowing down. And while I’m lucky enough to enjoy my job, I’d be lying if I said it doesn’t leave me dreaming of a beach vacation and a nice large cocktail at the end of most weeks. In the meantime, I’ll take a casual Friday outfit like this one to celebrate making it through another busy week. And maybe still a nice large cocktail (like this one).

SHOP THE STORY

This denim button front skirt has shown up time and time again on the blog these past 6 months and for me, has changed from a trend piece to a closet classic. Meanwhile this mock-neck ivory sweater is new in this past week and I’ve – not lying – worn it 3 out of the past 7 days. Definitely one of those goes with everything shapes/colors/weights that makes it good for any season. Another new addition are these oversized glasses from Classic Specs – an eyewear company based in Brooklyn. They’re a brand that’s new to me and I’ve been swooning over their selection ever since. I went with this blue/slate rounded pair which was total a departure since my last 4 pairs of glasses have been tortoise shell, and slightly square.. but I couldn’t be happier with them. Same goes for my feeling towards Friday.
