A public garden and cultural center, I’d seen photos of Wave Hill and had quickly moved it to the top of my places to visit this Fall. If we’re being honest the only other time I’d been to the Bronx was for a Yankees game so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but between the quiet gardens, beautiful buildings and views of the Hudson I can’t wait to go back.
Another thing I plan to see a lot of this Fall? Ponchos, capes and wraps. A huge trend for the season, I couldn’t help but gravitate towards the warm colors and and subtle plaid pattern on this one. Paired with a chunky turtleneck (it’s actually tunic length which would be great with yesterday’s riding pants, but I tucked it in here), skinny jeans and easy suede boots. This may be my favorite look I’ve worn in a long time. That’s the things about trying new places and new styles – sometimes you surprise yourself in the best way.
