GINGHAM TOP AND MIDI SKIRT

The Steele Maiden: Newbury Street, Boston wearing French Connection Midi Skirt and Restricted SandalsOne of the things I love about traveling (and there are many) is getting to dress a little bit differently. While I always want to feel comfortable and like myself, whenever I visit a new place I try and adopt a bit of their unique style into my own.

SHOP THE STORY

So when I was in Charleston that meant dresses with a Southern Belle charm and when in Cabo a hint of señorita spice. Last weekend in Boston, that motto translated into classic Americana prep (gingham and a full skirt).  And of course, style aside, I take into consideration that I’m usually going to be on my feet exploring all day – which is where these Restricted sandals come in (seriously, this brand never disappoints my feet when it comes to fresh out of the box comfortable.. not to mention goes with everything cute). I’ll be back soon with a full travel guide to Boston, but in the meantime check out what else I packed for the getaway here. Perfect in the case that you’re getting ready to hit the road for Memorial Day weekend.
